Gerrard Pique has continued his never-ending diss on Real Madrid and their Champions League success.
Last week, Pique claimed that Madrid's success will not be remembered because they always win, this week he went on El Larguero to say that Real Madrid were the underdogs when they won their most recent Champions League.
"I don't want to take away any credit from Madrid, but just tell how it's won," Pique said.
"The 5 Champions Leagues that Barca won are five seasons of being superior to everyone else. Madrid’s last Champions League is evidence that in none of the games Real Madrid were superior.
"Maybe I’ll clarify. They won't remember it for their game, they're going to remember it for other things, for the epic comebacks. But this is enough for them and that is the greatness of Real Madrid, that being good for 5 minutes in the semifinal against City makes you win.
"That's a good thing. Barca will not win any knockout games because they were better for five minutes like Madrid did vs. Manchester City," he added.
Real Madrid crushed the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, PSG and Manchester City to win the Champions League in 2022. It's hard to take Pique's worth with anything more than a pinch of salt.
