Did Real Madrid offend the football god by any means? One might ask after the consecutive injuries that have hit the club this season.

It started with Thibaut Courtois rupturing his ACL in training before Eder Militao did his in the game at Bilbao. Both players will be out until 2024.

Vinicius Jr. also suffered a hamstring injury that kept him out for a month. The Brazilian's return has coincided with some good football being played by Madrid. But not long after that Aurelien Tchouameni was struck down by an ankle injury.

As if that wasn't bad enough, Madrid's topscorer Jude Bellingham suffered a shoulder injury and missed the last couple of games. And just this week, terrible news was received from France as it was confirmed that Eduardo Camavinga will miss the rest of the year with a shoulder injury.

Meanwhile, players like Kepa, Arda Guler and Dani Ceballos continue to battle with their fitness after suffering muscle injuries.

It's bad news everywhere you look for Carlo Ancelotti but he doesn't have one hand tied behind his back just yet. The Italian gaffer can still field a strong lineup without the injured players.

The good news is that some of the aforementioned injured players like Kepa, Bellingham and Ceballos are expected to regain fitness after their international break. But whether they can start games is another matter.
