"I don’t know the exact day [he will be back], but Vinicius is recovering very well. We just don’t want to force his recovery. He is increasing his workload.
"Next week he will start doing some of the work with the team. I think that he will recover before the six weeks that they have said," Carlo Ancelotti told the press.
The Real Madrid boss went on to give updates on Ferland Mendy and Dani Ceballos' situation as well.
"Ceballos will be [available] against Sociedad, but Mendy won't. He has to continue with his plan. I think he will be in the squad on Wednesday [v Union Berlin].
"Tomorrow I am going to put the best team, because it is going to be an important match, against an important rival."
Real Madrid will take on Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium this Sunday. The kick-off is at 21:00 CET.
