Bellingham used in unusual position with England – what it could look like at Real Madrid

Jude Bellingham has played on the left wing almost all the time against Ukraine.

Bellingham also contributed defensively, completing 4 tackles.

Interestingly, no one occupies this position at Real Madrid as Carlo Ancelotti has been using the 4-4-2 diamond formation this season – it presumes that there are no natural wingers.

However, Bellingham can simply play as a left-sided midfielder in the 4-4-2 – for example, when Eduardo Camavinga is out of form. Luka Modric would then sit behind the strikers.

England have shared the spoils with Ukraine, 1-1. Bellingham was subbed off in the middle of the second half after a fine performance.
