Barely above Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest — where Real Madrid rank by money spent in summer

This summer, Real Madrid have signed 6 players in total, with 2 of those arriving on loan.

Jude Bellingham is our most expensive arrival so far, with Los Blancos spending €103m to sign the English international from Dortmund.

Arda Guler (€20m), Fran Garcia (€5m), Brahim Diaz (returned from loan), Joselu (€500k loan fee) and Kepa (€1m loan fee) have also arrived to bolster the squad.

Overall, Madrid have spent €129.5m, ending up only 15th on the list of biggest spenders.

The club is barely above the likes of Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest. Even Saudi sides ended up higher.

Should a certain French or English striker arrive at Bernabeu, the numbers would have been quite different, but it is what it is now.
