Indeed, Ivan Fresneda was part of Real Madrid's academy from 2014 to 2018. Last season, he was a star performer for Real Valladolid in La Liga. Just like Carvajal, he is quite balanced in terms of defending and attacking – he does both things well.
Barcelona actually consider signing the 18-year-old; for now, however, they've set their sights on Joao Cancelo while Fresneda serves as his alternative. If Real Madrid want to act, they should do it as soon as possible.
