Ancelotti will be Brazil head coach, date of arrival confirmed

's head coach starting from the 2023/24 season, their Football Association have confirmed.

The Italian will start his next job in June 2024 when the 

 contract which expires on June 30, 2024.

The two parties reached the final agreement last week.

Officially, Ancelotti cannot sign any contract until January 2024 (6 months before his current deal with 

 expires). However, Brazil's national team have received the necessary guarantees from the Italian coach; one of them is that he will personally pick the one responsible for the team's rebuild before he arrives.

Real Madrid are aware of the 64-year-old's decision. They will not make any official announcements until January.

Carlo Ancelotti will remain the Whites' head coach until the end of the 2023/24 season unless the two parties decide to part the ways earlier.

I remember when England announced Sven Goran Eriksson as national team coach in November 2000..At the time Lazio were coasting to victory in the league. After the announcement, results tumbled!!! .   so I worry as well
