Carlo Ancelotti has recently said that he is happy with the current squad so Real Madrid won't be making any other moves this summer.
This, however, doesn't mean that the work of the coaching staff and the executives is over for the summer. Here's what we believe their course of action should be.
Offload the deadwood
Alvaro Odriozola, Take Kubo, and Reiner are the players that Ancelotti doesn't count on for next season. Besides, Borja Mayoral and Dani Ceballos might favour an exit in search of playing time.
It is important that Real Madrid carry out their departure so the coaching staff can focus on the players that will actually be there for the season.
Solve Asensio's future
At the moment, it's unclear whether Marco Asensio will continue at the club. The Merengues won't offer him an extension and the winger isn't necessarily pushing for an exit. However, it might be a better idea to cash in on him than lose Asensio for free next summer.
Extend contracts of key players
Madrid have extended the contract of Luka Modric, but there are the likes of Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo that are still waiting for the club to reward them for their performances.
Settle on Benzema's backup
This is the weakest position in our squad. Mayoral, Mariano, Latasa and Hazard are all candidates to deputise for the Frenchman next season. It's the coach's responsibility to determine who would perform best in this role during pre-season and part ways with the rest.
