Asensio reacts to Olympic defeat
Spain were beaten by Brazil 2-1 in the Olympics final on Saturday but Marco Asensio is still proud of the team after earning the silver medal.
The Spaniard wrote on Twitter: "Proud of the silver we won. We gave our everything for the better prize, but it couldn't be."
Kroos wants Madrid to invest in defence
Toni Kroos has called on Real Madrid to sign another centre-back after the departures of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane earlier this summer.
The German told Bild: "We've lost our pair of central defenders. If you want to replace them, it's expensive. We've been paid for Varane and have paid nothing for David Alaba. You have to take this into account."
Alaba says he still hasn't found a house in Madrid
"I haven't really seen much of Madrid yet, but the weather is really beautiful. I'm still looking for a house. Step by step I'll get to know the city better," the Austrian has told ORF after the Milan clash.
Mallorca closing in on signing Kubo
The Japanese is expected to join the Primera side on loan.
Although Real Sociedad were said to be the best-positioned side to land him, it's now Mallorca who are 'in pole position' to sign Kubo, as per reliable Jose Felix Diaz.
