Speaking to YouTube blogger DjMaRiiO on Monday, Iker Casillas claimed that Kylian Mbappe would be a perfect fit for his former club.
"Mbappe is exceptional. Everyone sees the quality he possesses. He'd fit at Real Madrid by name alone. It's happy to think about linking Mbappe and Real Madrid but it is still too early to think about signings."
Interestingly, the most recent report from Diario AS names Mbappe a 'No. 1 priority signing' for Real Madrid.
It's unlikely, however, that the star forward leaves Paris Saint-Germain this summer. Los Blancos have reportedly put their effort to sign Mbappe on hold since they won't simply afford the move amid the economic crisis.
It has been a fairytale start to the 21-year-old's career so far. He has won the World Cup with France, three Ligue 1 titles and three domestic cup trophies with Monaco and PSG combined.
The forward, who has a contract with PSG until 2022, has definitely earned the status of one of the best players in the world. He scored 39 goals last season and has already collected 27 this term in addition to 17 assists.
