Juventus are reportedly eyeing a move for Achraf Hakimi

Juventus are interested in signing Real Madrid defender Achraf Hakimi this summer, Calciomercato report.

According to the source, the Old Lady see right-back as a priority position to strengthen after failing to find an adequate replacement for Dani Alves, who left the club in 2017.

Mattia De Sciglio, Danilo and Joao Cancelo have all been tried on that position without much success, with winger Juan Cuadrado being forced to fill in for them.

However, Juve will have to battle against the competition of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and well, of Madrid themselves. BVB don't have a buyout clause included in his loan deal but they would surely be willing to keep him for much longer.

Hakimi has been one of Dortmund's best players in the 2019/20 season. The Morocco international has bagged 7 goals and made 10 assists in all competitions this campaign. The defender's loan spell at Borussia Dortmund ends in June.

Los Blancos are reportedly willing to offer the 21-year-old a new long-term contract. Hakimi's current deal with Los Blancos is set to end in summer 2022 but Zidane is willing to keep the right-back at least until 2025.
