Manchester United beat Newcastle United 3-2 at Old Trafford on Wednesday, ending the penultimate Premier League clash of the season on a positive note.
Both sides were tied 1-1 at half-time, thanks to strikes from Kobbie Mainoo and Anthony Gordon.
Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund added two more goals for the hosts after the break and Newcastle failed to match up.
Despite the win, there was one rather underwhelming player for Man United who failed to add anything beneficial. And that's Alejandro Garnacho, whose performance has been criticised by the media.
Garnacho struggled to get the better of Kieran Trippier, who successfully marked him out of the game.
He had a glorious chance to score when Bruno Fernandes served him an assist but the effort was saved one-on-one.
Garnacho's involvement was woefully limited; he was the least effective attacker of the evening. Amad and Hojlund, in contrast, were far more lively and got on the scoresheet as well.
