Man United training ground atmosphere 'turns toxic' after Sir Jim Ratcliffe decision

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has annoyed a lot of people at Man United’s Carrington Training Facility with his recent antics, as per The Sun.

The Man United co-owner recently sent a memo to all members of the Red Devils non-playing staff. In it, he complained about the poor condition of the club’s facilities.

Remarking on the facilities, Ratcliffe said: “I am afraid I was struck in many places by a high degree of untidiness. In particular, the IT department which frankly was a disgrace and the dressing rooms of the U18 and U21 were not much better.”

He also reportedly mentioned that the standards of the facilities are not even close to what is maintained at his Ineos Chemical company. This has, predictably, not gone down well with a lot of people.

Several non-playing staff members feel that they are being made scapegoats for a much larger issue at Man United. This criticism from the co-owner has now created a toxic environment inside Carrington.

Moreover, Sir Jim also recently sent an email to the Man United staff telling that remote work will be banned. Those not willing to report to club’s offices for work have been told to quit and look for other modes of employment.

Ratcliffe is clearly serious about bringing in major changes, not only to the Man United squad, but also to the facilities to match the standards of the major European clubs.
