Man United have come out on top in the standing of the most valuable football clubs around the world in 2024 so far.
In research done by Sportico, the Red Devils have been found to be more valuable than teams like Real Madrid and Man City. Man United’s current valuation is a whopping $6.2 bn!
This manages to trump the major values of Real Madrid ($6bn) and Barcelona ($5.28bn, who make up the top three in this list.
Liverpool are actually the closest to Man United's value among all Premier League sides. Still their valuation is $5.1bn, a lot less than the Red Devils.
Despite Man United’s struggles on the pitch this season, there has been no impact on the club’s reputation or how lucrative it is.
A possible reason behind the Red Devils’ increase in value could be because of Sir Jim Ratcliffe becoming a co-owner last year by purchasing a stake and taking over the sporting control of Man United too.
