When asked about what Man United plan to do with Jadon Sancho after his Borussia Dortmund loan spell has ended, Erik ten Hag answered: “We are close in that process.
“We are visiting games, not only [Wednesday] – [I] will not say all the games, but we have seen more games from Dortmund where Jadon was performing. We had a visit with him, we talked with him, and we will keep going with this process.”
The Dutchman was also further questioned if his conflict with the Englishman is close to an end, to which he added: “There was a conflict and let’s finish the season first. So stay away from this issue now – it is not important.
“He has the return [leg] of the semi-final, in the league it is not going that well for them. We have four important games in the league and the FA Cup final and then we will see.”
Sancho is enjoying a prolific loan spell at Borussia Dortmund and was one of the stars of the shows in their recent 1-0 win over PSG in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final.
The Englishman, however, reportedly does NOT want to return to Old Trafford – even if Ten Hag leaves – meaning that the club are likely to have to sell him in the summer window.
