Man United face fight for Europa League spot: Premier League standings with four games to go

Man United have officially dropped out of the 2023/24 Premier League top-4 race after their 1-1 draw against Burnley at the weekend.

The best that Erik ten Hag's side can now hope for is to finish in the top 6 and qualify for the UEFA Europa League next season.

However, even for that, the Red Devils face stiff competition because of Newcastle United's recent improvement.

Man United only have one point more than the seventh-place Magpies, having played the same number of games.

The Red Devils have six points fewer than fifth-place Tottenham Hotspur, who have played a game fewer than them.

Man United need to finish in fifth or sixth place to secure a place in the Europa League. A seventh-place finish would mean qualification for the UEFA Europa Conference League unless Man United can win the FA Cup.
