Bruno Fernandes was not able to make the difference for Man United in their dismal 1-1 draw against Burnley in the Premier League.
The Portuguese midfielder tried his best, but saw his four-match goal-scoring streak in the Premier League snapped by the Clarets.
With that being said, it’s not like Fernandes was a quiet and invisible figure all game long. He was quite proactive in midfield, especially in creating things.
The Man United captain managed to create nine goal-scoring chances, but was let down by his teammates’ poor finishing.
In fact, Fernandes also became the first player to create 100 goal-scoring chances in the 2023/24 Premier League season after the Burnley draw.
Incidentally, he’s only been able to pick up just seven assists in the league this season despite being able to set up so many goal-scoring opportunities.
