Man United failed to get successive wins in the Premier League and were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Burnley.
The Red Devils just weren’t clinical enough and failed to protect their lead after Antony scored the opening goal in the second half.
However, a lot of Man United fans were exasperated at how poor Aaron Wan-Bissaka was in this game. He allowed a lot of Burnley moves to happen on the right, failing to make a single tackle and only winning two duels.
Not just that, but Wan-Bissaka was sloppy in the attacking areas and just couldn’t seem to cause enough problems to the Burnley backline.
A number of Man United supporters on Redcafe lashed out at the Englishman for his poor performance, and here are some of the reactions.
Oscar Benavena: “For a 50 million quid player, I couldn't believe how technically deficient he was in his first games for United. Can barely control and pass the ball, and it hasn't improved much since. For that amount of outlay, you'd want a player who at least has his basic technique down.”
Dempsey19: “I'd trade him for an empty vending machine.”
AshRK: “Absolute limited footballer this guy is. If I had a choice to let go one player it would be him.”
MadDogg: “I'm hardly a big AWB fan at the best of times, but my god he was bad today.”
Adisa: “50 million fecking pounds. The last decade needs to be studied in classtooms. People should be going to jail.”
Bastian: “I think I have this with probably more than half the squad, but he really does epitomise it for me. There have been times where I thought he was good, then terrible, then maybe good, then maybe both, then getting good enough and now I'm back to thinking he is just not good enough, even as a squad player. If he's got a year left on his deal I think he should definitely be moved on in the summer.”
