According to the Daily Mail, there was a brewing discontent between Diogo Dalot and Rasmus Hojlund during an incident in November.
This dates back to Manchester United’s Champions League loss to FC Copenhagen.
The striker felt he was not involved in the gameplay and brought it up to Bruno Fernandes during the game.
However, the captain reportedly sided with his compatriot Dalot amid the argument. That prompted Hojlund to make a complaint to Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag's coaching staff refused to step in and urged Hojlund to resolve the issue face-to-face with his teammates instead.
Hojlund and Dalot eventually talked it out and Bruno also made amends with the young Dane.
There have been no further issues since but this again points to the fact that Man United lack unity within the squad.
