Man United among sides interested in Benjamin Sesko, possible transfer fee revealed

Manchester United are part of a three-way race with Chelsea and Arsenal for the signature of Benjamin Sesko this summer, reports the Evening Standard, a tier-two source.

The Red Devils have scored just 47 goals in 32 Premier League games so far - the least among any top-10 side.

For context, Manchester City have scored 76 goals while Arsenal are a close second with 75.

This shows a massive gap in the attacking unit of these clubs, with Man United clearly struggling.

Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund began scoring goals regularly in 2024 while Marcus Rashford is yet to go on a proper goalscoring run. As for Antony, he's not scored even once in league, despite playing 25 times.

Sesko, 20, could be available by triggering his release clause, which is reportedly £42.5 million.

The young striker has scored 13 goals across competitions for RB Leipzig in a solid breakthrough campaign.
