Danish legend Brian Laudrup has advised Christian Eriksen to leave Man United for Ajax in the summer.
Eriksen started his senior career at the Dutch capital in 2010, before moving to Tottenham three years later.
Mostly used as a substitute this season, the 32-year-old has struggled to get off the bench in the Premier League recently, with only 37 minutes since January.
Speaking to Tipsbladet, Laudrup said: “When I look at the possibilities and where he has come from and where he can do fantastically well for a few more years, then in my world Ajax will be a fantastic place.
"I also know that Ajax have mentioned that they are interested. After his cardiac arrest, he was in Amsterdam rehabilitating. He knows the city, he knows the language and he knows the club. They will almost receive him as a king returning home.”
Eriksen has a year left on his United contract and would command a fee if he leaves.
