Everton referee named
Simon Hooper will be taking charge of the Manchester United vs Everton clash in the Premier League on Saturday, it has been announced.
The 41-year-old official has so far refereed just six top-flight games involving the Red Devils with a record of three wins, two draws and one defeat.

Even though he was just there on loan, Sergio Reguilon was in tears in the dressing room after Newcastle knocked Man United out of the Carabao Cup.
The full-back said: "We were defending the title and we were out. I don't care if I am here for six months, I was upset. I don't know how long I was crying like a kid. It's good and it’s bad. Maybe I am too passionate, too emotional in some moments but I can't control."
Hojlund reacts to PoTM win
Reacting to winning Premier League Player of the Month for February, Rasmus Hojlund said: "I'm very happy. Of course, it's a great privilege to receive this award, especially with the other players who were also nominated. So I'm very grateful and very happy for this award."
Hojlund set a unique record for scoring in six consecutive Premier League games before picking up an ill-timed injury.
Neville calls Ten Hag's tactics bland
Discussing Erik ten Hag's attempts to grind out results as opposed to playing attractive football at Man United, Gary Neville said on Sky Sports: "I am absolutely bemused and bewildered how we can’t play football under Ten Hag. I can’t believe it.
"You see the football he has played at a previous club [Ajax] and he has come in at United and he resorted last week at City to what Ole did at Tottenham, when he just sat back.
"He just went, I’m just going to get a result. He tried to get a result by any means. How have we damaged Ten Hag? Why can’t get he get a tune out of [these players]?"
