According to The Independent, cited by the Daily Express, Ajax are 'very keen' to re-employ Erik ten Hag as manager if his spell at Manchester United continues to go down south.
Ten Hag reportedly has till the end of the season to prove to Sir Jim Ratcliffe that he deserves to stay as manager.
Although the Dutchman has claimed he's 'aligned' with Ratcliffe, doubts keep growing about the former's future.
Ten Hag was a serial trophy winner at Ajax, winning three Eredivisie titles and two KNVP Cups.
Since Ten Hag's departure, Ajax have not been the same. This season, they have plunged to fifth spot in the standings.
