Jesse Lingard's wages in South Korea compared to Cristiano Ronaldo's earnings in Saudi Arabia

Jesse Lingard has finally found himself a new club, signing for South Korean side FC Seoul earlier this month.

It's hard to accuse the Manchester United man of being driven by money now that his salary in Asia has been revealed.

Lingard is reportedly earning an annual salary of just £900,000 — roughly equal to two days' work for Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.

It has to be noted that big wages and transfer budgets are not part of the K-League model with the 31-year-old moving to South Korea to build his personal brand.
