Manchester United confirmed activating a break clause in Sergio Reguilon's loan agreement earlier this Thursday.
The defender will officially return to Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently hit by a bout of injuries.
Man United brought Reguilon in only as a temporary solution till Tyrell Malacia recovers from an injury. And now that Malacia is set to return, Reguilon's time has been cut short.
Despite his limited time here, Reguilon made an impact whenever he played. He's left after making 12 appearances across competitions this season.
Reacting to his exit on Instagram, Reguilon posted: "It has been great to play for Manchester United and I just want to say thank you to the club, the fans and my teammates.
"It was a privilege to play for this huge club. I wish all the best for the Red Devils."
