Atletico Madrid join Mason Greenwood race (reliability: 4 stars)

Another La Liga club are interested in signing Mason Greenwood next summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Atletico Madrid have joined Barcelona in race to land the 22-year-old at the end of the 2023/24 season after his heroics in Spain.

Greenwood, who has five goals in four assists in 15 games in all competitions for Getafe, impressed during their 3–3 draw with Atletico earlier this month.

The striker is set to return to Manchester United in the summer of 2024 when his loan spell expires but the Red Devils are unlikely to keep the player given his legal issues.
