Donny van de Beek is inching closer to leaving Manchester United during the January transfer window.
As per The Athletic, the Dutch midfielder has travelled to Germany to undergo a medical with Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Bundesliga side has already agreed to sign Donny on loan. The deal includes the option for him to join permanently for a modest €11 million plus add-ons.
Van de Beek, 26, has appeared just twice for Man United this season. He's spent most of his time injured at Old Trafford and failed to make an impact even when available.
Although he joined in 2020, Van de Beek's number of games per season has reduced drastically. He's not part of Erik ten Hag's plans going forward, despite spending time together at Ajax.
One can only hope this loan to Eintracht Frankfurt reignites a lost spark in Donny.
