Matic names 2 Man United players who were always late for training - one is still at the club

In an interview with YU Sport, former Man United midfielder Nemanja Matic has revealed a few players who repeatedly turned up late to training sessions during his time at the club.

He said: “At Chelsea, players acted professionally, they were punctual and were never late for training but at United it happened almost every day.

“Among the players who would always be late were Paul Pogba and Jadon Sancho and couple of other players.

"The rest of us who were always on time were angry so we decided to form a kind of internal disciplinary committee with me serving as the president."

Man United have disposed of Paul Pogba, but Jadon Sancho is still technically in their books even though he remains exiled from the first-team squad.

This shows that the Red Devils have had some bad apples in the past, and this lack of professionalism is something Erik ten Hag is probably fighting to fix to this day.
