Revealed: when Malacia will return from injury after latest injury setback

Man United have announced that left-back Tyrell Malacia sustained a setback in his recovery process from the knee surgery he underwent at the end of last season.

The Dutch full-back will not be able to play any games in 2023 anymore, but is on course to return to action in early 2024.

Malacia had actually required another surgery after his knee operation due to certain issues he had developed in the rehabilitation process.

But with that now all settled, the left-back is back in the Carrington training facility working hard to regain full fitness.

Malacia has not made a single appearance for the Red Devils this season, with Sergio Reguilon being brought in to fill his role as the backup to Luke Shaw.
