Garnacho and VAR: Sean Dyche blames Man United defeat on 2 key factors

Speaking to BBC Sport on Sunday, Sean Dyche said: "Manchester United started the game with a worldie which put us on the back-foot

"We played well in the first half and had good chances so I was pleased at half-time. Then they get a penalty early on and the VAR is being made so complex

"I feel for the fans and the referee stares at the screen and we know the outcome. The way the modern game is they say it is a penalty."

Alejandro Garnacho scored a Goal of the Season contender early in the game on Sunday as Man United secured an important 3–0 win away at Everton.

A VAR check awarded the Red Devils a penalty in the second half (which Marcus Rashford converted) but the decision was obvious and without controversy.
