Lisandro Martinez is expected to be fit for Manchester United's trip to Tottenham on Saturday.
In the 1-0 victory over Wolves, Martinez was withdrawn at half-time, replaced by Victor Lindelof.
Having taken part in training on Thursday, Ten Hag is optimistic that the Argentinian will be ready. "He was just training [on Thursday], so I think so. Yeah."
However, Amad and Kobbie Mainoo are still out after sustaining injuries while on tour in the US. Rasmus Hojlund is working hard to be in a position to make his debut after arriving from Atalanta but Saturday looks certain to come too soon for him.
Goalkeeper Tom Heaton is out for the "the first few weeks" of the campaign but Dean Henderson was fit enough to be on the bench against Wolves, as Andre Onana's deputy.
