Man United are locked in negotiations with Real Sociedad over the possibility of a loan move for Donny van de Beek, claims Fabrizio Romano.
The Red Devils are holding discussions to finalize a few aspects of the deal before an agreement can be reached.
Man United want a loan fee for the deal to go through and are also discussing how Sociedad will cover Van de Beek’s salary during the spell.
Moreover, there are also talks going on about an option-to-buy clause added to the deal allowing Sociedad to sign him permanently in 2024 and how much that fee can be.
Van de Beek is personally keen on the move and has been attracted by the La Liga club’s project.
The Dutchman impressed in a few pre-season games for Man United, even scoring against Lyon, but is not considered as a key squad player anymore.
