Man United have announced the departure of young midfielder Charlie Savage to Reading on a permanent transfer.
The youngster has signed a four-year deal with the Championship club after failing to break into the Red Devils' senior team.
Savage spent 15 years at the club and joined them when he was just five, mostly thanks to his dad's (Robbie Savage's) affiliations with them.
The 20-year-old made his debut for Man United in 2021 in the Champions League against Young Boys.
His final appearance for the Red Devils was in the friendly game against Leeds United on 12 July, when he captained the side in the second half.
Savage posted an emotional message for the fans after his exit was confirmed, promising to return to Old Trafford to support the team.
