Mason Greenwood has reached an agreement with Atalanta over a loan move for the 2023/24 season, as per club insider Atalanta News.
The Englishman is willing to move to Italy for the upcoming campaign in an attempt to revive his career.
Man United are reportedly open to loaning him to Atalanta and boost their own pursuit of their forward Rasmus Hojlund.
Greenwood has not played any kind of professional football since January 2022 and could benefit from a move to a club where he’ll get regular minutes.
The Red Devils are yet to conclude their internal investigation on the forward on his accusations, but that is likely to be done soon.
Man United have maintained a healthy relationship with Atalanta over the last few years, having also signed Amad Diallo from them in 2020.
