Man United are reportedly aiming to improve their midfield line next season with the addition of an energetic midfielder.
The Red Devils are being strongly linked to a move for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who might become a free agent soon.
Man United are trying to sign him on a free transfer and believes his skill set can make him a good fit for Erik ten Hag’s system.
Rabiot has earned a bad reputation for having a ‘poor attitude’ and going through spells of inconsistency. However, he actually had an impressive 2022/23 season with Juventus.
He scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 47 appearances and has been nominated for the Serie A best midfielder in the league award.
The only issue with Rabiot is not him, but his mother. Veronique Rabiot actually blocked his move to Old Trafford last season due to extravagant demands. She also has a reputation for throwing a tantrum in her son’s games and once even got in a quarrel with Kylian Mbappe’s family.
Despite this lingering weakness, some fans think that Rabiot can be a perfect fit for the Red Devils – as they reacted on Twitter.
