Harry Kane, Osimhen & 3 other strikers Man United could sign this summer

Manchester United are ramping up their search for a new striker with the summer transfer window drawing nearer. Erik ten Hag has made it clear that he will make attacking reinforcement.

The Red Devils have been linked with several strikers. Here are the top five.

1. Harry Kane (Tottenham)

Kane is believed to be United's top target. The Englishman recently moved ahead of Wayne Rooney in the Premier League's all-time top scorers list with his 209th topflight goal.

However, a move away from Spurs seems unlikely. Kane's current deal expires in 2024 and only then could he be allowed to leave.

Possibility of Arrival: 20 per cent

2. Victor Osimhen (Napoli)

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis recently declared that Victor Osimhen is not for sale. But that may just be another strategy to hike the Nigerian's asking price.

Osimhen is having an incredible season, Serie A top scorer with 23 goals. He also buried five in their ill-fated Champions League campaign.

Possibility of Arrival: 70 per cent

3. Randal Kolo Muani (Eintracht Frankfurt)

Muani is one of six players to register double figures for both goals (13) and assists (10) in Europe’s top five leagues this season. The versatile forward has also been linked with a move to United.

Bayern Munich are also said to be interested. He will likely leave Frankfurt this summer.

Possibility of Arrival: 50 per cent

4. Rasmus Hojlund (Atalanta)

Hojlund has enjoyed a so-so debut campaign in Italy, scoring seven and assisting two for an Atalanta side firmly in the hunt for a top-four finish. The young Dane joined from Sturm Graz for a reported €17m last summer and once Atalanta elect to sell, they stand to make a hefty profit.

United have been linked with a move for the striker, who has been dubbed the next Erling Haaland. However, his inexperience may hamper an immediate deal.

Possibility of Arrival: 20 per cent

5. Lautaro Martinez (Inter)

United is reportedly exploring the possibility of luring Lautaro Martinez to Old Trafford in a player-plus-cash deal. A bid of €50 million and Anthony Martial is set to be offered to Inter, who are reportedly looking for fresh faces in their attack going into next season.

Martinez has enjoyed another fine season in Italy with 22 goals and eight assists. He certainly has the personality to shoulder the responsibility of spearheading Erik ten Hag’s front line.

Possibility of Arrival: 70 per cent
