Speaking after Everton's 2-0 defeat at Man United, Sean Dyche said: "Too many mistakes against a good side.
"A side that has been very good here (Old Trafford). They deserved to win. Sometimes you hold your hands up. Particularly in the first-half, although we gave them so many chances and opportunities for not doing the basics.
"I think we are bringing resilience to it, and a lot of it was self-inflicted. self-inflicted from straight balls and not into the game straight away. On the other hand, some great last ditch saves from Jordan Pickford.
"We quelled it somewhat in the second-half, but overall the best team won."
United had 21 shots in the first-half against Everton, their most on record (since 2003-04) in the first half of a single Premier League game, and the most by any side in the opening 45 minutes of a match this season.
