Ten Hag shares update on Shaw

When asked for an update on Luke Shaw, who was subbed in the first half vs Brentford, Erik ten Hag told reporters: "I can’t say in this moment. I wait for tomorrow what is the diagnosis. I took him straight off and didn’t want to risk [it]. But we have to wait for the outcome.

"Then you can make the right diagnosis. So I don’t want to comment in this moment."

McTominay delighted with Brentford win

Reacting to Manchester United's 1-0 win over Brentford, Scott McTominay told MUTV: "That's what the message was, to bounce back and I thought the play in the first-half was pretty good.

"We controlled the game really well and in the second half, we lacked that bit of composure in the final third. I thought we really fought hard tonight as they are a really tough team to play against, they had only lost one in 16 or something like that against some top teams."

United fined £65,000 for players conduct in Fulham game

Man United have been fined £65,000 in relation to the players surrounding referee Chris Cavanagh pleading for a penalty in the FA Cup game against Fulham last month.

"The club admitted that it failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and do not behave in a way which is improper," the FA statement reads.

Dyche defends Weghorst

"He's a very good player," Everton manager Sean Dyche said about Wout Weghorst who played under him at Burnley last season. "He worked very hard, [he's] very professional and different managers look for different things.

"I certainly wouldn't underestimate him as a player. I hope he is not such a good pro if he plays on Saturday!"
