Alvaro Fernandez leaves on loan
Alvaro Fernandez has joined Championship club Preston North End on loan for the 2022/23 campaign, it was confirmed by both clubs on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old left-back reportedly attracted interest from several Bundesliga sides as well but has agreed to join Preston following the arrival of Tyrell Malacia.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a return to his boyhood side Sporting Lisbon this summer but manager Ruben Amorim is not saying much for now.

The game will be held on Wednesday and won't even be broadcast on MUTV. However, Christian Eriksen could get his first taste of pre-season ahead of the start of the new Premier League campaign.

Notorious Spanish striker Diego Costa could feature against Man United when the Red Devils host Rayo Vallecano in their final pre-season pre-season.
The 33-year-old is reportedly on the verge of signing for the La Liga side and the transfer could be done in time for the Old Trafford clash at the weekend.
