Speaking on talkSPORT radio, former Spurs defender 

 said: "Players now look at it and would rather sign for 

"Because we got fourth place, because we've got 

"You would. The facilities are great, you're in London so why would you sign for Man United right now? You'd rather sign for Tottenham."

So far this summer, Spurs have already brought in 

Man United, meanwhile, are yet to make a single signing as transfer talks for for the likes of

Fans are getting increasingly frustrated over the slow pace at which 

United are the only top-six side yet to sign anybody, as per the Manchester Evening News. And that's after a

The most interesting point from the MEN report is this - United, for once, have a clear transfer strategy they want to stick to. And that includes not over-paying on fees or wages. 

While there is a 'desire to complete deals as soon as possible', United are not 'panicking' over the lack of arrivals. In fact, club chiefs were concerned that by bowing to 

Barcelona's price demands for Frenkie de Jong

, they would have 'yielded too willingly'. 

All in all, as fans, it's only one excuse after another. If these are indeed legitimate concerns - and we're not denying they are - perhaps there should have been a back-up plan to counter-act these consequences? 

It's no secret that we won't play in the Champions League next season or that we've not won a trophy in years. 

The clock is ticking and United need to do something soon to begin pre-season on a good note.

I wonder if some of our useless players are listening to this buffoon who never won anything in his playing career talking loads of rubbish 🗑. It's a difficult time to be a fan of Manchester United football club at the moment. Things seem to be harder for the club and even to sign a single player has become harder for the club because we're not in the Champions League. And besides that everyone seems to be throwing everything at us and most importantly trophyless Tottenham are all making mockery out of our club.  What a painful time for us.

Do you blame him? Suddenly he is using "we" for Spurs to include himself which he never did when Nuno was there. 
When even a Spurs legend,  Sheringham who won trophies with us prefers to identify with us this clown of a talker on radio is comparing Man Utd with Spurs for pit sake.
