OFFICIAL: Wayne Rooney's Derby relegated from the Championship

Wayne Rooney's Derby County have been relegated from the Championship following the 1–0 defeat against Queens Park Rangers away on Monday.

With Paul Ince's Reading coming back from 4–1 down to secure a 4–4 draw vs Swansea City, it is now mathematically impossible for the Rams to stay up.

Earlier this season, Derby were handed a 21-point deduction and placed under a transfer embargo due to 'breaches of profitability and sustainability rules'.

Rooney has still done an incredible job and the Manchester United legend will have plenty of offers on the table unless he follows Derby to the League One.
