Man United are reportedly prioritizing the signing of a young forward in the summer transfer window.
Even Ralf Rangnick recently admitted that he feels the club needs a younger, more energetic striker next season.
The Red Devils are contemplating many options, with Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland being among them.
However, realistically it won’t be easy to sign the Norwegian striker because of his huge wage demands.

BrilliantOrange: “(Alexander) Isak would be great.. Proper baller! Amazing technique, can play up front as target man, hold balls, he has pace.. Goalscoring record is not amazing, but Id way rather look at his intrinsic qualities as a goalscoring record in another league/team is never a guarantee.”
Sparx99: “(Amine) Gouiri is another one that is considered an up and coming star. 10 goals in 24 games for Nice who are 3rd in Ligue 1. Only 21 but (Karim) Benzema had similar kind of figures when he was young at Lyon. He also has 7 assists I think.”
CM10: “Darwin Nunez does seem the right kind of profile. Young but not so much so that he's green, and clearly able to carry the weight of expectation when it comes to goalscoring. The striker market looks pretty barren otherwise. I really hope that with Richard Arnold, Rangnick et al in charge of recruitment in the summer we start making more signings like these, which make sense, instead of just going for names all the time.”

DavidMichael: “(Karim) Adeyemi at RB Salzburg looks fantastic, Dybala is available on a free and could be fantastic as a false 9 flanked by Sancho and Rashford if they were both in form, Nunez at Benfica also looks promising so there’s value out there but we’ll chase Haaland all summer with zero chance of getting him then end up promoting (Joe) Hugill or (Charlie) McNeil.”
Rolaholic: “Really hope we take a look at Rafael Leao and Jonathan David, really talented and hardworking young strikers (both 22) who won't necessarily break the bank unlike some of the other names being floated (Felix and Vlahovic before).”
Ser19: “I imagine Patrik Schick is being considered if Romano's 'young but ready number 9' has any truth to it. 26, having a great season, likely well known by Rangnick. (Dominic) Calvert-Lewin is gone off the boil a bit, but showed real promise last season and is certainly a physical number 9.”
