That was the perfect way to end things before looking forward to 2021/22, wasn't it?
We tried a 4-3-3 formation and the first-half was highly entertaining as United attacked and scored three goals in quick succession. We saw some good performances from Matic, Van de Beek (who else is excited to see him start vs Leeds?) and even De Gea showed promising signs.
Kudos to Bruno, Maguire, Shaw and Greenwood for their fantastic displays. Besides Shaw, the trio ended up on the scoresheet at half-time.
We saw a slew of changes to give chances to fringe players and it worked - Dalot impressed with a well-taken goal to make it 4-0!
It was a near-perfect victory but after that trailer, United fans will expect to start next season with a bang against Leeds, whom we famously beat 6-2 last term.
