Getting back to his best? De Gea shines for Spain against Germany in UEFA Nations League clash

• David de Gea was at his shot-stopping best during Spain’s 1-1 draw against Germany in the UEFA Nations League game on Thursday.
• The Spaniard made 7 saves in the game, saving La Roja from an embarrassment and keeping them in the game.
• He made a few excellent saves off Leroy Sane and Niklas Sule, before watching his hard work rewarded with Jose Gaya’s late equalizer to share the points.
• De Gea was powerful to stop new Chelsea man Timo Werner’s opener but showcased superb reflexes to deny Germany on many other occasions.
• The Spanish goalkeeper seems to be reinvigorated after Dean Henderson’s return to Man United and we can hope he maintains this hot momentum for the Red Devils once the season begins.
