'If that had been scored against us I wouldn’t expect it to be ruled out': Roy Hodgson fuming with cancelled goal vs United

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson believes VA was wrong to disallow Jordan Ayew's goal against Manchester United.

"What’s the point in getting into it?" he told BBC when asked to comment on the VAR decision.

"If I said it was [a goal], they say it wasn't, it becomes like a Christmas pantomime.

"I thought it was a good goal. That’s what VAR gives us at the moment. If that had been scored against us I wouldn’t be expecting it to be ruled out but that’s what we have to take now."

Man United beat Palace 2-0 via goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial. Our next game is against Chelsea at Old Trafford on July 22.
