It appears that Mino Raiola is serious in his intent to cut all ties with Manchester United after failing to secure Paul Pogba's exit from the club last summer.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, the super agent is working on arranging Matthijs De Ligt's transfer to Real Madrid despite renewed interest from Old Trafford.
The La Liga giants, who were also previously interested in the centre-back, reportedly consider the Dutchman to be a long-term replacement for 34-year-old defensive stalwart Sergio Ramos.
Raiola has previously promised to bring a 'great footballer' to Madrid this summer as he looks to maintain a good relationship with the La Liga giants.
However, it's been suggested that the Red Devils could still use Pogba as part of a swap deal with Juventus for De Ligt when the transfer window reopens.
The scenario could be a win-win for both Man Utd and Juve as the Dutch prodigy has so far struggled to recreate his stellar Ajax form for the Serie A champions and given their interest in the Frenchman.
