Marca: Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Juventus amid Covid-19 pandemic, Man United return a possible option

It appears that the Covid-19 pandemic could see Cristiano Ronaldo return to Manchester United some 11 years after leaving the Premier League.

The novel coronavirus has plunged Italy's economy into chaos and football clubs could be forced to make a number of player sales in order to avoid going down.

According to Marca, should Juventus decide to part ways with the Portuguese when the transfer window reopens, Old Trafford would be 'a potential landing spot' for the 35-year-old.

A move to Paris Saint-Germain is a possibility as well but the oil-rich Ligue 1 champions will have to lose one of Neymar or Kylian Mbappe if they want to bring the former Real Madrid star to Paris in the summer.

Ronaldo currently has an eye-watering £500,000-a-week contract at Juve and letting the player go would go a long way to helping the Turin outfit avoid a financial disaster.

It's worth pointing out that while Marca tout United as one of 'the most logical options', there's has been nothing so far to suggest that the Red Devils are actually considering bringing the forward back to Old Trafford.
