Domestic sports that are likely to be played outside of native countries

Kabaddi is just one such example of a domestic sport that will more than likely be played outside the country where it originated. As various other sports gain mass exposure thanks to television and certain major sports streaming sites, more people have access to sports and leagues not usually played on their soil than ever before, and what usually works well in one country also usually works well in other countries too, especially when it comes to sports.

In addition to traditional sports, a growing number of newly formed sports that have been invented or become more popular over the past few years are also gaining momentum, not only in their native country where they were invented but also in other countries around the world. One such example is Monobob – which is basically Bobsleigh for women.

Men have been competing in Bobsleigh events for years, and now it’s time for women to have their own teams. It’s just one of several new events you can look forward to in the Winter Olympics. The NFL and NHL, which are traditionally domestic sports in America and Canada, are also two great examples of sports that are exploding abroad, especially across Europe.

Which other new sporting events can we look forward to at future Winter Olympics?

In addition to Monobob, some of the other new sporting events you can look forward to at future winter Olympics are a handful of mixed-gender events, as well as freestyle skiing, big air jumping, team events in ski jumping, a short-track speed skating relay, freestyle skiing aerials, and a snowboard cross relay.

Is it possible to bet on any of these sports?

Although the vast majority of fully licensed sports betting websites don’t currently have markets available for some of these new sports, there are several markets that will be open for one or two of these sports at Polish Unibet in the future. We are also likely to see even more betting markets become available over the coming years as these sports become even more popular.

Right now, at this trusted site, for example, you can also now bet on a variety of other emerging global sports, which fall into one of several categories, such as eSports, Air Sports, Strength Sports, Snowsports, and Goal Sports. You can also place a wager on Electronic Sports, Endurance Sports, Athletics (Track & Field), Skating Sports, Acrobatic Sports, Board Sports, Catching Games, and Ball Sports, to name just a few top categories with emerging new sports.

Which other domestic sports are now being played outside native countries?

Some of the other new sports that are also now growing on an international level are:

Conclusion

As the world becomes a much smaller place thanks to the internet, smartphones, digital media and streaming sites, we will more than likely see a whole new range of domestic sports becoming more mainstream and being played outside of native countries. The coverage will also no doubt lead to huge revenue streams and a wave of new sports stars emerging. For example, the best Kabaddi stars have always come from India, where the sport started, but as this sport gains popularity around the world, we could see the next stars of the sport coming from America, Canada, Europe, or Australia. Only time will tell.
