Darwin Nunez has been linked with leaving Liverpool after he removed all LFC-related posts from his Instagram feed earlier this month.
Fabrizio Romano told Give Me Sport about the striker: “On Darwin, we had many, many stories, but to be completely honest with you I’m hearing that there is nothing really concrete into it.
“Nothing is moving around Darwin since last summer. No conversations with other clubs, no negotiations. And it’s not because there is no interest in Darwin, but because he is a really expensive striker.”
Liverpool splashed £64m initial fee and £21m in add-ons on the Uruguayan in 2022. The Reds are unlikely to want to sell him for less — and it's difficult to think of a team that would pay that amount for Darwin after his two tricky seasons at Anfield.
