'I wouldn't want to play against him': Darren Bent says how long Liverpool should give Nunez to come good

Former Premier League striker Darren Bent has backed Darwin Nunez to succeed at Liverpool if given time.

Bent believes there is enough in Nunez's game for him to succeed at Liverpool and he should be given another year.

“I really like him. I think he makes good runs. I know sometimes he is offside, but power. If I was a centre-half, I wouldn’t want to play against him.”

When asked if Liverpool should sell Nunez if they are able to get the fee he was initially bought for, Bent said: “I would give him another year. I really would. I think he will come good, I really do.”
